Consumer Campaigns

We want to inspire fashion consumers to take an active role in reducing the environmental impacts of their clothes. Through our consumer programmes we educate, inspire and enable people to make better choices around how they buy, wear, care and dispose of their clothing. We organise campaigns, workshops, clothing drives, pop-up shops and exhibitions to drive positive behaviour change. We also collaborate with brands to drive more sustainable fashion options for consumers. Most recently, we have written a consumer book called Dress [with] Sense. During the 24 Hour Sort-a-thon we are aiming to sort through all of the clothing collected in the Get Redressed Clothing Drive (forecasted as over 10 tonnes) in just 24 hours, with the help of 25 teams of corporate volunteers. Over the whole 24-hour event (12pm Friday 22 November - 12pm Saturday 23 November), the 25 teams will simultaneously sort clothes to a fun backdrop of live music, great food and drinks whilst meeting new people, learning about the issue of textile waste in Hong Kong and directly benefiting people in need.
