The EcoChic Design Award Hong Kong 2012 Grand Final

The six finalists showcased their EcoChic collections at the grand final at HKTDC fashion week on 5 July 2012. The finalists showcased their designs on the runway in front of Hong Kong’s top fashionistas, media, buyers and renowned fashion designers.

Jimmy, Ku Ho Ping
Jimmy is currently the Managing Director of a n online fashion store, called RDM Creative. Prior to this, he studied Fashion Design at The London College of Fashion, graduating in 2011. During his London studies, he interned with British designer, Vivienne Westwood.
Victor, Tang Chi Shing
Victor recently launched an online fashion store, called 930origin.com, in a career move that brought him back to his earlier fashion roots. Previously he spent several years in the advertising industry. Victor studied Fashion Design at The Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education, graduating in 2004.
Wister, Tsang Ho Yin
Wister is currently working as a fashion buyer. In 2010, he studied an Associate Degree in Fashion Design at Caritas Bianchi College of Careers. Prior to this, he worked as a designer in a wholesale company. In 2008, he graduated with a Diploma in Fashion Design and Product Development from the Clothing Industry Training Authority.
Grayer, Tsang Nga Hei
Grayer is currently studying for her Higher Diploma in Fashion Design and Product Development at The Chinese University of Professional and Continuing Education. Previously, she was second runner-up in the first Asian Youth Wedding Design Competition and she was a finalist in the 2012 The Hong Kong Young Designer Contest.
Angus, Tsui Yat Sing
Angus is currently studying for his Higher Diploma in Fashion Design a nd Development at the Hong Kong Design Institute. He has participated in several design competitions since secondary school.
Kelvin, Wan Ka Hang
Kelvin is currently studying Fashion Design and Development at the Hong Kong Design Institute. Prior to this, he worked as a sales representative in a high-end fashion retail store. Previously, he studied Art and Design at a high school in New Zealand.
