The Redress Forum

The Redress Forum was a highly-successful one-day industry seminar that took place on 19th May 2011 at The Jockey Club Environmental Building, Hong Kong. The seminar targeted various fashion industry stakeholders, including fashion designers, students, retailers, manufacturers and NGO’s, in order to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by the growth of sustainable fashion in Hong Kong.

The seminar consisted of five panel discussions and one best practice case study session on: Sustainable fashion:Why Hong Kong, why now?; The business of sustainability; From buzzword to best practice; The certification circus; Inspiring the next generation; Educating and engaging consumers.

We loved this because it created a rare opportunity for cross-industry discussion on sustainable fashion in Hong Kong and encouraged collaboration between various stakeholders within the fashion supply chain.
