Millions of tonnes of textiles are discarded annually, placing increased pressure on Earth’s decreasing natural resources. This interactive panel discussion explored the fashion designer’s influential role in minimizing a garment’s environmental impact through textile waste reduction. This session highlighted the techniques, trends and business opportunities in reducing textile waste through sustainable fashion design.
