Our Governance

Redress Limited is registered as a charitable institution of a public character under Section 88 of The Inland Revenue Ordinance of Hong Kong. Redress was established in 2007 and has a charity number of 91/9246. 

Redress is governed by a Board of Directors, each of whom is expert across the fields of business development, strategy, accounting, finance, fashion design, sustainable fashion, legal, recruitment and NGO management. Our Board of Directors provide governance for our operations and provides oversight into our strategic and expansion plans, programme efficacy and approval of our financial budgets and audited accounts.

Founder, Spokesperson and Board Chair, Redress and Co-founder and Board Chair, The R Collective

Christina is a sustainable fashion advocate who for over 15 years has championed better practices in fashion. Since founding Redress in 2007, she has steered the organisation’s course from a small and brave startup to its position today in influencing a more sustainable future for fashion globally. Christina holds an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). As Board Chair, Christina works closely with the board on strategic direction, board governance, and finance, and she delivers Redress' message to the world through talks, seminars, and thought-leadership pieces. She was listed as one of British Vogue’s ‘Top 30 Inspirational Women’; she is on Tatler Asia’s ‘The Impact List’ as one of the most influential individuals defining the future of Asia; and UBS lists her as a Global Visionary. She co-authored Dress [with] Sense; co-hosts the award-winning documentary series ‘Frontline Fashion’; and her TEDx talk ‘You are What You Wear’ has been widely viewed. Christina has written opinion pieces for CNN Style, Huffington Post, and Modern Media, and is widely quoted in global media. William Cornelius is a qualified accountant (CPA Australia) and has over 20 years of experience across a wide range of roles including finance, treasury, tax, M&A, strategy, business management and nonprofits. William has had a multinational career with postings in Australia, UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong across multiple industries, which equipped him with a broad set of skills, cultural sensitivity, and exposure to many different working environments. Recently relocating back to Australia, his current position is as CFO at HEAL Partners, who are a growth fund that invests in revenue-generating businesses in the healthcare, education, and lifestyle sectors with the potential for global scale and industry disruption. William is a proud father of two daughters and a rescue dog, and is passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle, especially in the great outdoors, where he is a keen runner and ocean swimmer. He especially loves spending time with his family at the beach or the dog-park.

Ostiane Goh-Livorness is a dual - qualified Hong Kong and English lawyer and is currently a Senior Associate with White & Case LLP based in Singapore. She advises on the development of major power and infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on renewable projects. Ostiane has worked extensively across Asia Pacific including postings in Manila, Phnom Penh, Singapore, Hong Kong and Melbourne . She was previously Counsel with the Asian Development Bank in the Philippines.  

Ostiane is passionate about sustainable fashion, in particular its impact on the environment and ethics, and has assisted Redress with its legal matters since 2011. Elsewhere through her pro-bono legal practice, Ostiane has sought to advocate for environmental sustainability and garment workers' rights in the fashion industry. Ostiane loves the outdoors, and is a passionate scuba diver and qualified yoga instructor.

Gabrielle Kirstein has broad experience and expertise in NGO development and management as the Founder of Feeding Hong Kong, a registered charity with a mission to fight hunger in Hong Kong and reduce the amount of quality food being sent to the city’s landfills. She led the organisation as CEO from 2011 through 2021 and now sits on the Board of Directors. Feeding Hong Kong redistributes over three million meals a year, a success story that has earned the charity accolades for its high impact, growth, and board governance. Gabrielle started her career at the international advertising agency Bates and their integrated communication consultancy 141 London. She moved to Hong Kong in 2003 and continued her career in communications and events with Euromoney Institutional Investor, The Economist Group, and others before founding Feeding Hong Kong in 2011. Gabrielle was also a co-founder of the Redress Design Award (previously the EcoChic Design Award) and is passionate about waste reduction. She continues to drive significant results and awareness about sustainability within the Asia Pacific region.

Board Member, Sustainable Apparel Coalition

Anderson Lee is a highly respected expert in sustainability issues relating to the fashion industry, manufacturing, business and policy. His role as Board Member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition enables Anderson to advocate for businesses to shift towards more sustainable practices.

He is also the Business Director of Hong Kong Non-Woven Fabric Industrial, one of the first companies to introduce closed-loop manufacturing facilities and chemical-free low carbon manufacturing processes. An active contributor to various multi-stakeholder initiatives, Anderson is the convenor of the Fashion Industry Development Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Innovation and Sustainability; a Member of the Qualifications Framework, Textiles and Clothing for the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; a voting member of the Outdoor Industry Association Sustainability Working Group in the USA. Additionally he is on the steering group of a number of government-funded carbon reduction projects and has been a judge for the EcoChic Design Award (now known as the Redress Design Award) for several cycles. Anderson is passionate about igniting change in tomorrow’s fashion leaders.
