Hong Kong-based environmental charity, Redress invites you to explore a treasure trove of affordable pre-loved garments at the Get Redressed charity pop-up shop, from Wednesday 28 November through Sunday 2 December 2018.
With the support of OnTheList, the pop-up is conveniently located at their 6 Duddell Street showroom and will include ‘like-new’ womenswear, shoes, accessories and bags, as well as menswear and childrenswear, re-stocked daily with high quality items.
Drop by to shop our hand-picked selection of pre-loved pieces, and whatever your needs, whether you are looking for the perfect designer dress for that Christmas event, a high-street sweater keep the chills at bay, or a one of a kind vintage coat, you’ll be shopping your way towards a more conscious closet, and helping to keep perfectly good textiles out of our overflowing landfills.
To date, Redress has collected over 23 tonnes of unwanted clothes through our clothing drives, which aim to raise awareness about the issue of textile waste and promote the benefits of recycling, whilst ensuring valuable resources remain in Hong Kong to support people in need.
Proceeds from this pop-up will go directly towards our work to reduce textile waste and promote a new circular economy for fashion in Hong Kong.
To receive a further 10% off your purchase, you can help keep your clothes in the fashion loop for longer by bringing your own unwanted items to donate. All donations will be carefully sorted for re-sale, re-distribution to our 10 local charity partners, or they will be recycled into new yarns.
Redress are partnering up again with OnTheList, who share our vision to minimise the negative impacts of fashion. Each year, an inestimable amount of clothing is destroyed by brands at the end of each season. OnTheList helps brands make space in their warehouses sustainably, by organising weekly flash sales where members can enjoy the best deal in town and brands can turn their old inventory into opportunity.
