TEAM SIZE: 10-15 persons. All team members volunteer during the same four hour shift.

There will be five teams per shift, so your team may also be volunteering with up to four other teams.

During the Sort-a-thon we are aiming to sort through all of the clothing collected in the Get Redressed Clothing Drive (forecasted as over 10 tonnes) in just 24 hours, with the help of 30 teams of corporate volunteers. Over the whole 24-hour event (Thursday 21st 8am-8pm and Friday 22nd 8am - 8pm), the 30 teams will simultaneously sort clothes to a fun backdrop of live music, great food and drinks whilst meeting new people, learning about the issue of textile waste in Hong Kong and directly benefiting people in need.   The event will still have a fun-filled atmosphere with F&B from brands like PizzaExpress and Peroni and music.  

What will volunteers be doing?
Volunteers will be sorting through clothing donations and directing them for resale, reuse by our 20+ local charity partners, up-cycling and recycling, depending on the type and quality of the clothing.
