Run in partnership with Tommy Hilfiger you are invited to attend an exclusive upcycling workshop via Facebook Live. Join Redress Design Award Alumna designer, Jesse Lee, and sustainable fashion advocate, Kayla Wong, to learn how to turn an old and unwanted t-shirt into a fun tote bag with just a few snips and some clever tying techniques!
With many of us spending more time at home and looking for ways to get crafty, this 45 minute workshop is designed to introduce you to the world of upcycling the clothes that are already in your wardrobe.
We have 20 special upcycling kits to give away, complete with threads and Tommy Hilfiger patches. If you'd like to customise your new tote using the kit, message zoe@redress.com.hk to reserve yours and find out collection details. Kits will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Why are we doing this:
On average we send approximately 339 tonnes of textiles to landfill every day in Hong Kong. Help reduce the burden on the environment and make fashion circular by re-styling and reusing the things that are already in your wardrobe.
