Want to promote secondhand shopping? Got a great community around you who would be interested in selling or shopping for a good cause? Gather your clothes and friends, and start your very own secondhand pop-up, donating the proceeds to support Redress!
Sorting clothes is challenging and costly, but necessary work to prevent as many clothes as we can from heading to landfill. At Redress, we’ve been hosting secondhand clothing pop-ups for years and we love doing them. They offer a fun, sustainable way to give new life to old clothes, and for us as a charity, they’re also an important source of critical funds. Part of our mission is to educate and empower consumers to join the circular economy — and what better way than to offer unique secondhand finds from our community’s own closets!
Now, we’re sharing a simple, easy-to-follow guide with all the information and tools YOU need to host your own pop-up, no matter where you are in the world!
Sweep your closet this Lunar New Year and set up shop with our new, easy-to-follow guide that covers everything from planning to marketing, selling, and managing leftover stock. Plus, you’ll gain a greater appreciation for how hosting a pop-up deals with the issue of fashion waste, discover secondhand around the world, and learn how your efforts can support Redress.
