ECOCHIC DESIGN AWARD 2015/16 FINALISTS ANNOUNCED!
Ten emerging fashion designers were announced today as The EcoChic Design Award 2015/16 finalists. These talented finalists out-designed a record number of applications received from 40 countries, including newcomer countries such as India, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Iran and Israel, and collectively represent a greater global focus put onto sustainable design amongst emerging designers. EMPOWERING DESIGNERS TO CUT WASTE OUT OF FASHION
On June 7 2015, the last in a series of five Fashion Academies took place in India to bring sustainable fashion education to emerging designers. In Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, London and Mumbai attendees were inspired by the positive power of fashion, hearing from a variety of sustainable fashion experts and previous competition alumni.
