We’re so grateful to our partner CN Logistics for lifting our heavy loads — for two years now! We literally couldn't do it without them: CN Logistics collects, stores, and pre-sorts the clothing from our Hong Kong Takeback Programme so we can do the enormous job of finding the most sustainable destination for your unwanted clothing.
Wherever possible, it’s important to us that we work with partners who share our vision for a better planet. In addition to supporting Redress, CN Logistics provides sustainable logistics solutions for high-end fashion, wine, and other retail categories, all across the globe – such as by supporting customers in offsetting their emissions through the United Nations Carbon Offset Platform, or providing them with tailored solutions for recycling and resource planning. They’re certified by ISO14064-3, an international standard for calculating, reporting, and verifying greenhouse gas emissions.
In an effort to reduce their own emissions, in 2018 CN Logistics introduced their first electric van in Hong Kong, and the first batch of 5.5-ton electric trucks was put into operation in May 2022 to manage local deliveries. Now they own over 30 electric vehicles across Hong Kong and China, helping to reduce almost 32,000 tonnes of carbon emissions a year!
Since the beginning of our partnership in April 2021, CN Logistics has helped us process a whopping 58 tonnes of clothing, and they remain a critical part of our circular fashion efforts in Hong Kong. We thank you, CN Logistics — it takes strong partnerships like this one to fight the massive issue of textile waste!
