Meet the team behind Redress’ work in reducing fashion’s negative environmental impacts!

Leadership Team

Dr. Christina Dean

Founder & Board Chair
Christina has been a sustainable fashion advocate for 18+ years. Since founding Redress in 2007, she has steered the organisation’s course from a small and brave startup to its global position today. Now as Board Chair, Christina delivers Redress’ message through talks, seminars, and thought-leadership pieces.
 

Nissa Cornish

Executive Director
With 18+ years leadership experience in the environmental nonprofit sector, Nissa leads the Redress team in Hong Kong, driving our vision and mission, overseeing strategy and planning, and managing daily operations. Prior to this role, she headed up production for our flagship programme, the Redress Design Award, as Events Director.
 

 

Hannah Lane

Development Director
Hannah develops Redress’ programme strategy, and leads our partnership initiatives. Additionally, she heads the development of the Redress Design Award Alumni Network. Hannah has 15+ years experience in the sustainability field, including experience at OgilvyEarth China and serving on the advisory board for Eco-Design Fair China.
 

 

Aurianne Ricquier

Circular Fashion Programme Director
Aurianne leads our Circular Fashion Programme team, which works to reduce post-consumer textile waste by increasing the reuse, resale, and recycling of clothing locally. With extensive experience in fashion supply chain operations in Europe and Asia, and having previously led a Hong Kong-based NGO focused on youth education, Aurianne believes in the power of education to drive positive change.

Ekta Chopra

Education Lead
Ekta leads educational initiatives that empower emerging designers to integrate circular design into their creative processes. She holds a Master’s in Design (Textiles) from NIFT Delhi and has over a decade of experience in textile design, product development, sourcing, and supply chain management, having worked with leading international brands across the US, UK, and European markets.
 

Rachel Lau

Circular Fashion Programme Senior Officer
Rachel supports the primary and secondary school education programmes. With a genuine interest in environmental topics, Rachel hopes to bring environmental awareness to the wider community in Hong Kong through education, which she deeply believes is a powerful way to induce long-term behaviour changes for sustainable consumption.
 

 

Matthieu Amelin

Events & Creative Lead
Matthieu oversees the production and creative aspects across all Redress events. With a solid background in diverse sectors (television, art, luxury, and corporate) in both France and Hong Kong, he has built a strong knowledge of event organisation and production, always putting creativity at the centre of his work.
 

Katt Bidegain

Competition Coordinator
Katt coordinates the Redress Design Award competition, emphasising sustainable fashion and empowering young designers to understand their environmental impact. She provides guidance on embracing their passion while fostering a collaborative network of peers.
 

Consumer Outreach

Vannesa Yeung

Circular Fashion Programme Manager (Development)
Vannesa drives Hong Kong’s largest circular fashion campaign, Get Redressed Month, which brings together organisations, schools, and communities. She orchestrates the end-to-end strategy and execution of various activities.
 

 

Sabina Ip

Shop Manager
Sabina oversees the operations of our curated secondhand clothing shop, The Redress Closet. She also takes care of the shop’s merchandising, maintaining quality customer service, and communicating with customers about Redress’ work.
 

Lawrence Wong

Partnerships
Lawrence is responsible for developing impactful partnerships with like-minded companies and organisations. He also supports the team with fundraising and grant proposals.
 

 

Carol Cheung

Circular Fashion Programme Assistant
Carol is part of our Circular Fashion team and mainly supports the Clothing Collection Programme and secondhand sales initiatives, organising our logistics, inventory management, charity relationships and volunteer programme.
 

 

Communications

Shirley Aun

Communications Lead
Shirley leads our dynamic communications team in driving the core messages behind Redress. With over a decade of experience in hospitality, primarily focused on marketing, business development, and corporate partnerships, Shirley is experienced in strategising corporate sustainability programmes.
 

Yolanda Chow

Redress Design Award Communications Manager
Yolanda supports the communications efforts of the Redress Design Award, driving awareness and inspiring action for sustainable practices in fashion. She is passionate about sustainability and encouraging mindsets and habits of care towards people and the planet.
 

 

Samantha Ng

Digital and Creative Communications Assistant
Samantha manages Redress’ websites, presenting our work in reducing fashion waste to the world.
 

 

Serene Yu

Sustainability Writer
Serene oversees our Chinese communications efforts, reaching Chinese readers in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and around the world.

Kitty Too

Office & Accounts Manager
Kitty is the ‘mum’ of the Redress office, taking care of a wide range of organisational needs. Her responsibilities include accounting, auditing, administration, taxation, office management, and establishing workflows. Kitty loves helping people and is passionate about Redress’ mission.
 
 

Janny Au

Office Administrator
Janny supports the Redress team in keeping the office running smoothly. She brings 10+ years of experience in administrative and human resources management, plus 15+ years of experience in secretarial support to a board of directors, senior management, and corporate governance.
