Community Corner: March 2025

Check out what we’ve been up to lately to promote sustainable fashion in Hong Kong!

Something Special in Sham Shui Po – Craft & Design Bazaar

Mr. Hanson Wong Chun-hung, Chairman of the Working Group on Boosting Local Economy of the Sham Shui Po District Council presents a certification of appreciation to Redress’ Executive Director, Nissa Cornish.

Redress participated in the ‘Something Special in Sham Shui Po – Craft & Design Bazaar’ on 16 March, under the highway of Tung Chau Street. Our booth at the bazaar proudly featured designs from Redress Alumni Patrick Lam, Nguyen Thi Dung, Hugo Dumas, and Silvia Acien Parrilla, and enjoyed about 3,000 visitors that lovely Sunday afternoon.

Co-organised by the Sham Shui Po District Office, the Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture, the Hong Kong Design Centre, and executed by Jao Tsung-I Academy, the bazaar showcased Sham Shui Po’s vibrant creativity and craftsmanship, promoting local design talents while engaging the community in a unique cultural experience.

We can’t wait to be a part of the next event!

Sharing at GreenGen 2025

Redress’ Circular Fashion Programme Director, Aurianne Ricquier, shared on ‘The Power of Circular Fashion’ at GreenGen 2025, which took place on 22 March at Central Market. Organised by the Rotary Club of Braemar Hill, the event included various sustainability workshops, vendors, and sharing sessions from industry leaders.
