Launching ahead of Lunar New Year festivities, our latest exhibition transforms the traditional lion dance—a cherished symbol of Chinese heritage—into a canvas for sustainability and fashion innovation. The project is brought to life in collaboration with Ha Kwok Cheung, a legendary dragon and lion dance troupe with over 90 years of history in Hong Kong, and two of Hong Kong’s sustainable design talents, Pearl Leung of Pearl Leung Style and Eric Wong of Absurd Laboratory. Come see how each designer reimagined the lion dance costume as an art piece upcycled from unwanted garments from our Clothing Collection Programme!
- Venue: The Corner Shop, Mondrian Hong Kong, 11A-11D Hart Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui
- Dates: 8–26 January 2026
Plus, Redress and Mondrian Hong Kong are launching a special Lunar New Year clothing collection initiative, encouraging hotel guests to give clothing, shoes, and accessories in good condition. All collected items will be curated by Redress to be sold at our secondhand shop, raising critical funds for our charity and promoting circular, sustainable fashion.
