建構全球時尚產業框架
- 經濟影響: 2026 年,全球服裝市場收益估計將達到 1.92 兆美元,1 約佔全球國內生產總值(GDP)的 2% 至 2.5%。2
- 社會影響:據估計,全球每八名勞動人口中,便有一人受僱於服裝產業的某個環節。 3
環境影響
全球生產與消費
- 全球時尚產業每年生產約 1,000 億至 1,500 億件服裝。12
- 亞洲佔全球成衣及紡織品出口約 60%。13
- 預計到 2030 年,全球成衣及鞋類消費量將增長 63%.14
- 據估計,2023 年時尚產業生產了約 25 億至 50 億件過剩庫存商品,其對應的潛在銷售價值在 700 億美元至 1,400 億美元之間。15
失靈且浪費的線性系統
紡織與成衣廢棄危機——持續惡化
- 全球:每秒鐘,相當於一輛垃圾車的紡織品被堆填或焚燒。16
- 全球:2024 年,全球成衣與紡織廢棄物達 1.2 億公噸,其中 80% 最終被送往堆填區或焚化。17
- 預計 2015 年至 2030 年間,紡織廢棄物將增加約 60%。18
- 全球:大部分服裝在生產後一年內便被堆填或焚燒。19
- 全球:每生產五件服裝,每年便有相當於三件最終被堆填或焚燒。20
- 全球:據估計,超過一半的快時尚產品在一年內便被丟棄。21
- 香港:2024 年,香港每日平均有 400 噸紡織品被送往堆填區22, 相當於每天約 17,000 個行李箱的紡織品被丟棄。23
循環經濟的重要性
循環經濟尚未充分發展——紡織品回收面臨困境
- 全球紡織產業的循環率僅為 0.3%:在其每年消耗的 32.5 億噸材料中,超過 99% 來自原始資源。24
循環經濟與紡織廢棄物回收的益處
- 經濟:
- 每年,價值約 1,500 億美元的原材料價值因紡織廢棄物而流失。25
- 透過向循環紡織商業模式轉型,預計到 2030 年可創造 7,000 億美元的經濟價值。這將來自四大商業模式的增長——轉售、租賃、維修與再製。目前,這些模式代表著 730 億美元的市場規模(約佔全球時尚市場的 3.5%),預計到 2030 年將增長至 7,000 億美元(約佔全球時尚市場的 23%)。26
- 環境: 循環商業模式的市場份額每增加 1%,預計可減少 1,300 萬噸二氧化碳當量(tCO2e)的排放。27
- 社會: 與「一切照常」的情境相比,到 2030 年,全球各行業向循環經濟轉型可淨創造總計約 700 萬至 800 萬個新工作崗位。28
循環經濟始於良好設計——但教育缺口仍然存在
- 大約80%的產品環境影響在設計階段就已經確定了。29
- 在英國,71% 的設計師預期對綠色設計的需求將會增加,但只有 43% 認為自己具備滿足該需求的能力。30
- 一項涵蓋 81 篇論文的綜合回顧指出,主流時裝設計課程仍然「很少將可持續發展納入課程內容」,突顯了透過理論理解與實踐應用來加強可持續發展教育的必要性。31
- 瑞銀指出存在迫切的投資需求時尚界 的循環經濟和循環經濟是長期發展趨勢,尤其是在私人市場,投資前景日益明朗。勞動力需要提陞技能和進行技能再培訓。32
消費者意識不斷提高,但消費者意願與行動之間仍有差距
- 98%的消費者認為品牌有責任為世界帶來正面的改變。33
- 71%的全球消費者關注時尚產業的可持續性,只有3%的人願意為此支付溢價。34
- 71% 的消費者表示,他們正在轉向投資更高品質的服裝,並且對轉售、租賃或翻新等循環商業模式越來越感興趣。35
立法加強推動時尚產業進步
- 歐盟的可持續發展產品生態設計法規ESPR)是一系列措施的一部分,旨在透過提高產品的循環性、能源性能、可回收性和耐用性,大幅提升推出歐盟市場的產品的可持續性,該措施於2024年7月生效。36
- 中國的《「十五五」循環經濟發展規劃》包含多項系統性目標,包括:為循環而設計;擴大再生纖維及二次原材料在紡織製造中的使用;擴展生產者責任延伸制度(EPR)。包含各種系統性目標,包括:循環性設計;擴大紡織品製造中再生纖維和再生原料的使用;擴大生產者延伸責任制(EPR)。37
