Hong Kong’s largest clothing consumer awareness campaign returns May 2024 with the theme ‘Your Clothes, Our Planet’! Expanding with new activities with a unique focus on storytelling, Get Redressed Month invites Hong Kong consumers to rethink the relationship between themselves, clothing, and the environment, and discover more sustainable ways to embrace fashion in their daily lives.
The VF Circular Design Challenge brought together emerging fashion designers with industry professionals, disrupting an everyday fashion item by applying circular thinking. Redress challenged senior fashion students from the Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation (SCF College), Donghua University, in collaboration with VF Corporation to “hack” a classic hoodie with new design ideas and solutions for circularity — all within just four hours.

Congratulations are in order for Eric Wong on winning this year's Alumni Prize! In collaboration with our partner Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong, he took on the challenge of reimagining their used airbag waste fabric into two upcycled showpieces.

Empowering future generations to reduce fashion’s negative environmental impacts is a core part of our work at Redress. To accelerate our impact on students’ habits towards clothing, this fall we are launching two new activities targeting Hong Kong primary and secondary schools respectively.
